WHO CAN COME TO FOCUS?
FOCUS is for the Vintage Church community.
CAN MY KIDS COME?
Absolutely! FOCUS is an all ages event and we want to encourage all families with children to come. Kids ages 0-2 attend for free and kids ages 3-18 pay only for meals. We will be offering a 'word and spirit' children’s program for ages 2 – 5th grade led by our very own V-Kids team. We also have a nursery for babies from ages 0 – 2 during the main sessions.
Both our children’s ministry and nursery run during the times adults are in sessions and seminars. We ask that you supervise your children during all other times.
WHAT DO MY TEENAGERS DO AT FOCUS?
Middle and High-schoolers will have a packed youth program throughout the weekend! We also have accommodation where youth can have their own slumber party with their friends. Each dorm is same-sex only and has a leader staying with them. They will be under supervision at all times.
WHAT IS THE PRE-FOCUS HIKE?
The best way to make friends and kick-off your FOCUS experience is to join us on Friday afternoon for a fun and healthy hike in the Malibu mountains. We will meet at the Focus camp and join Ger and other leaders on a 2-3 hour medium standard hike. Register here for the hike.
CAN I GET A SCHOLARSHIP?
Yes! We would love for everyone at Vintage to be able to come to FOCUS. You can receive a $50 discount if you volunteer to serve on our FOCUS Welcome Team or $100 for serving on the VKIDS Team. If this doesn’t work for you then you can apply for a scholarship. Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org to make a confidential scholarship request.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Cancellations made before April 1st will receive a 100% refund, minus a $50 processing fee.
Cancellations made between April 1st-30th 50% of the event cost will be refunded.
Cancellations made after May 1st 100% of the event cost will be forfeited.
Please email email@example.com for all refund requests.

You do not need to stay on site to participate in FOCUS. There are day ticket options as well as a nearby Hotel if you are worried about accommodations. The Goodnight Inn is approximately a 10 minute drive from the FOCUS site. Please see their website for more information https://www.goodniteinnmalibu.com
CAN MY FAMILY STAY IN ONE ROOM?
Yes, of course! We think this would be the preferred way for many families. We suggest the Hotel rooms for families, since they have multiple beds and private bathrooms. Go to our accommodation page to find out more about the various room options we have.
CAN I PICK MY ROOMMATE?
You sure can! You can book your accommodation together or separately. If you're booking separately, please be sure to choose the same style of accommodation and let us know who you will be sharing with during your check-out procedure.
We ask that all attendees respect our policy of single sex adult occupancy for each room, unless you are a married couple.
However, due to the limited number of rooms, the FOCUS Director will be assigning roommates to rooms not specified as single occupancy or family accommodations.
CAN I PARK AT THE CAMP?
Yes, however there is limited parking available, so we recommend you carpooling with other guests.
ARE SKATEBOARDS & SCOOTERS ALLOWED?
Yes, however anyone under 18 must be wearing a helmet and be supervised by an adult at all times.

Parents, please note that you are responsible for your children's safety at all times, unless during designated nursery and children's ministry sessions. Please do not leave your children unattended as staff will not be able to supervise them.
WHAT DO I DO IN CASE OF A MEDICAL EMERGENCY?
Please alert the on-site Hospitality Manager, Assistant Camp Director, or any member of the FOCUS team immediately. The nearest emergency room is St. John’s Urgent Care in Malibu, which is approximately 6 miles away. There is also Los Robles Medical Center, a 24-hour hospital approximately 18 miles away in Thousand Oaks.
